EXPLORATION & DEVELOPMENT
We generate prospects and take leasehold in the Ark-La-Tex and South Texas
CORE EXPLORATION AREAS
Ark-La-Tex
East Texas and North Louisiana — mature, heavily drilled, and still full of overlooked section. Deep gas targets stacked over shallower conventional pay, in country our offices sit in the middle of.
South Texas
Worked the same way, where old well control and modern completion results tell different stories about the same rock — and the gap between them is where the prospects are.
How we pick a play
National well, log, and production content we already license, filtered down to sections where the results don’t match what the rock should do.
The same sequence every time, and any one step can kill it. Most ideas die at step three.
Screen the data
01
Structure and isopach mapping, log correlation, and seismic where it exists — enough to draw an AOI we’d defend to someone else’s geologist.
Map the subsurface
02
Ownership, expirations, depth severances, and what a block would actually cost to assemble. A good map over unleasable acreage is not a prospect.
Check the land
03
Type curves off analog wells, drilling and completion cost, and what the acreage has to be bought at for the math to work at a price we believe.
Test the economics
04
Three ways to end up in a deal with us
You own the acreage
Minerals or leasehold in either focus area. We’ll tell you what we think it’s worth and whether we want it, and we’ll tell you if we don’t.
You want to participate
Working-interest partners on prospects we’ve generated. You see the same maps and the same economics we underwrote it on.
You have an idea
An operator or generator with a play that needs mapping, land work, or a partner to carry it forward. Bring it and we’ll look at it properly.
